Since 2018 the Intershop B2B Award exists. This price is awarded during the yearly Shopping Awards Gala. That’s very appropriate, I believe, because although in B2C there are many exciting developments to be seen, B2B is no longer lagging behind. The number of applications made that even more clear. The professional jury, which includes Technische Unie, ERIKS Digital and InShared, assessed which B2B companies deserved a nomination.
The nominees for the Intershop B2B Award 2019 were announced last week. They are Proforto, De Stiho Groep and Kruitbosch. We are of course extra proud at Intershop, because the latter two are Intershop customers. Just to be clear: it’s not up to Intershop, the jury makes the decision. Why these three companies? Because they have shown in the past year that they’ve made real progress in the digital transformation, they immersed themselves in the customer journey and in doing so, leave their competitors far behind them.
By the way, at Intershop we are very happy anyway, because “our” customers are also doing well in the other Shopping Award categories. De Bijenkorf and Coop have been nominated in the Trade Awards category. And PLUS is nominated in the category Shopping Awards Public Awards XL. Time to celebrate!
Next Thursday, March 28, we’ll find out which company wins the Award. Who do you think the Intershop B2B award should win and why?
